Sara Narum, M.S.

Student Department Co-Chair

Sara Narum graduated with high honors from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy with an MS in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics (2023) and began volunteering with ACS shortly thereafter. Sara currently serves as Co-Chair of the Student Department and has been instrumental in producing quarterly education events, launching the student ambassador program, and expanding outreach efforts to higher education programs and associations dedicated to the advancement of cannabis science. 

Professionally, her expertise is in clinical research. Since 2007, she has been the Principal Owner of One Source Consulting, LLC, providing medical writing, trial management, and investigational site monitoring services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. She is encouraged by the potential changes to the regulatory landscape; hopeful that it will lead to further investment and research opportunities involving cannabinoid-based platforms, established safety and efficacy profiles, and ultimately greater patient access and care.
