Life Sciences Companies in a New Era: Key Strategies for Navigating the Unknown

The conference included panelists from Foley Hoag and industry executives. The focus of the conference was to help attendees gain insight into the current state of FDA drug approval priorities, legal enforcement and drug pricing considerations and strategies.
Ms. Winckler provided advice to pharmaceutical industry attendees to broaden their view of how to follow proposed and new guidance from the FDA as they are published in multiple sources, including social media, versus relying strictly on what is published in the Federal Register. When asked about the state of cannabis laws and rescheduling from Schedule I to Schedule III, she indicated she was not aware of any pending changes at the Federal level.
