Christine Goedhart, PhD

Education Department Chair

Christine is an experienced educator and educational developer with a strong passion for fostering inclusive learning environments. Currently serving as a Science Education Specialist at the University of British Columbia, Christine provides guidance and consultation to instructors, supports course design and pedagogical initiatives, and offers science education professional development programming. She also designed and taught the undergraduate Biology of Cannabis course.

Previously, Christine was a full-time faculty member at Citrus College for eight years, where she taught a diverse range of biology courses and honed her skills in providing engaging and effective instruction.

Christine has also developed and presented the course Evaluating Sources of Information About Medical Cannabis for the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Christine enjoys exploring the vibrant surroundings of Vancouver with her partner, Kim.
