Ethical Considerations in Medical Cannabis
The Association of Cannabinoid Specialists is excited to host a panel discussion on Ethical Considerations in Medical Cannabis on Tuesday March 24 at 7 pm ET.

This symposium will explore emerging ethical considerations in medical cannabis through insights from panelists representing clinical medicine, research, law, and policy. The session is designed to showcase the diverse ways ethical questions surface in this field and to consider what we can learn by bringing these perspectives together.

Panelists include:

Jordan Tishler, MD is a Cannabinoid Specialist. He is working to increase the standard of care for patients and the level of education of his colleagues based on data and best practices. He is the Founder and President of the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists which aims to educate clinicians, lawmakers, and the industry about best practices and needed tools for proper patient care.

Bryant Godfrey, JD is a Partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Foley Hoag and is Co-Chair of the firm’s FDA Practice Group. He provides strategic regulatory advice to large pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies, startups, and trade associations, helping them to navigate challenges relating to the development, manufacturing, approval and promotion of drugs, biologics, medical devices, and combination products.

Rowen Shier, MA is a Research Coordinator at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, Canada. She draws on her academic background in anthropology and philosophy to support qualitative research spanning topics such as ethics and cannabis research, health professions education, and Recovery Colleges. At the core of her work is a commitment to co-production and participatory action research approaches that center people with lived experience throughout all stages of the research process. Outside of work, Rowen can often be found travelling, learning new languages, and exploring culture through food (and coffee).

The talk will begin at 7pm ET.  Your unique Zoom link will be emailed to you after you RSVP.  To RSVP, please fill out your name and contact information below.
